DMP 690 SERIES/790 SERIES KEYPADS
SPEC SHEET
KEYPADS FOR ANY
APPLICATION
The DMP keypads offer high quality, cost
effective security and re system controls
with an easy-to-use Point and Press keypad
interface. The 32-character LCD readout
with full text display of system events
and menu prompts combined with large
backlit function keys, make the 690 Series
and 790 Series the industry’s easiest to
use keypads. DMP keypads allow you the
exibility to select the keypad model and
features to  t a particular application or
mounting location.
The 790 Model provides four Class B
protection zones for use in a variety of
burglary and  re applications.
The 693 is designed for applications
where full system operability and
integrated access control functions are
required yet shunting is not required.
The 793 keypad provides the integral
proximity reader, four Class B protection
zones, an internal relay, and external
reader capability. The full featured 793
keypads are designed for applications
where the keypad is used for complete
system operation, access control and
protection device monitoring.
SUPERVISED AND
UNSUPERVISED OPERATION
When programmed for supervised
operation, the keypad occupies its own
unique device address on the keypad data
bus. Unsupervised operation allows you to
install multiple keypads set to the same
device address. This increases the number
of keypads and provides maximum system
exibility.
BUILT-IN DIAGNOSTICS
DMP LCD keypads contain an internal
diagnostics program that allows installers
and service technicians to test the keypad
operation at any time without disabling
the system. The diagnostics program tests
the keypad prewarn tone, LCD segments
and backlighting, each of the 16 keyboard
keys, and the four zones on the 790 and
793 keypads.
RED BACKLIGHTING IN
ALARM
DMP keypads additionally offer one of
the most unique features found on any
keypad. During an alarm condition on the
system, the keyboard backlighting on the
keypad turns bright Red. This change in
color from the normal Green backlighting
helps persons on-site to instantly recognize
an alarm condition.

EASY USER MENU FUNCTIONS
Users can access all of the functions
necessary to operate and maintain their
system right from the keypad User Menu.
From silencing alarms and resetting
sensors to displaying events, any function
allowed by the user's assigned authority
level can be easily accessed through the
keypad. The User Menu is restricted so
that a valid user code is required before
access is granted to any of the functions.
This protection even allows you to install
the keypad in high traf c public areas
without danger of unauthorized access.
For added exibility, when connected to
an XR500 Series, XR100 Series, or XR2500F
Command Processor™ panel, User Menu,
Status List, and panel programming menus
can be displayed in multiple user-selected
languages.
USER-SELECTABLE OPTIONS
Each of the 690 Series and 790 Series
keypads provides a simple User Options
menu through which users can change the
keypad display brightness, speaker tone,
and volume level.
2-BUTTON PANIC KEYS
DMP keypads allow the top row of keys to
be used as 2-button panic keys. The user
