2.6. Read an I²C-Device to file

Usage: JTAGEL5 /RI2C filename /L=hhhhhh [optionlist]

The contents of a I²C-Device (i.e. a serial EEPROM) is read and written to a file.

The option /LENGTH= must be specified.

Options:

/DEVICE-BASE=hhhhhh

See function /PI2C (Chapter 2.5)

/OFFSET=hhhhhh

Reading of the I²C-Device starts at an offset of hhhhhh relative to the start

address of the I²C-Device.

Default: /OFFSET=0

Abbreviation: /O=

/LENGTH=hhhhhh

The number of read bytes must be specified otherwise an error message occurs.

Abbreviation: /L=
